1 Woche ist es her, das der Schnee die obersten Bereiche des Mt. Esja bedeckte. Als ich heut morgen in die Stadt geradelt bin, fiel der Blick auf eine weßentlich stärker verschneite Esja (s. Panorama).
Dann verschoben sich die Schneegrenzen am Abend gleich mal um ca. 500 m nach unten. Und vor unserer Wohnung schneite es. Bin schon auf nächste Woche gespannt, was uns das Wetter dann vorstellt.
Only one week was between the small hike up to Mt. Esja and today. One week ago, I saw the first snow around Reykjavik at the upper hills of Esja.
When I was riding my bike to Downtown Reykjavik this morning, I saw a much more snow covered Esja. Suddenly in the evening in front of our housing, it snowed and left a nice white area behind around here.
