  • Sólheimajökull (annual retreating: 15 m), a very dynamical glacier.
  • Starting process of the steam drilling equipment
  • Drilling the hole for wire measurement

  • Impressive star cover abov us
  • Wide spreading northern lights (lightly red shine can be recogniced)

20.03.2015 - I. The Solar Eclipse

  • Myrdalsjökull in the backround
  • Almost perfect clear sky at the eclipse (around 9:37 a.m.)
  • only the reflection in the lense of the camera shows the real state of the eclipse
